Dreaming of our Baby Boy

Today I was updating the adoption timeline that I posted on the refrigerator for Bryan when we first started this crazy journey. Since I was the one who was obsessively reading blogs, the Yahoo group, and interrogating our agency about the adoption process it was easy for me to remember the order of the various steps. Over the past 6 months of our adoption process the memory section of Bryan's brain has been consumed with med school so I figured writing everything down for him would be more efficient.
I'm the kind of person who loves a good list. When I'm making a To Do list I'll even write things down that I've already done just so I can cross them off. Kind of sick, huh? I guess it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. Today I got to cross of dates of Trip 1 and also got to cross of the step for dossier processing at the Embassy! Our agency notified us that our dossier (previously known as Paper Baby on this blog) is approved and on its way to Kyrgyzstan. (For you adoptive families out there - I don't know exactly what day it arrived but in general our processing in DC took about 1 month).
I also looked up at the top of the list where I had made a note that I dreamt of our baby and the baby house on April 28th. In my dream, our baby boy had huge blue eyes which seemed highly unlikely for a Kyrgyzstan adoption. It's shocking to think back on that now, because our wee little Kyrgyz peanut is in fact a blue-eyed bundle of joy, and that dream came only 2.5 weeks after he was born. The baby boy from my dream also had a head full of dark hair. I'm still unsure if that part of the dream will prove to be prophetic since right now Precious Boy is about 98% bald!!

God works in mysterious ways!!
