I have now been an official stay at home mom for a week, employed full time with Caleb Pickett Inc. I'm still trying to figure out which one of us is the boss...
I can already tell that this will be the most rewarding thing I have done with my time and the best thing I can do for our son. In just a week's time, I have already seen changes in Caleb as a result of being home with me. While our nanny was awesome, I know that like any child Caleb will choose Mom or Dad first. Caleb has gone down easier for naps, had a great appetite, been so happy and chatty and also more cuddly with me. I thank God for allowing me the opportunity to be home with him and also for letting me see some 'quick rewards' for my choice.

He might be one of the happiest babies I know - smiling away while waiting for his breakfast!

Looking at a Life Flight helicopter with Daddy at our new house. We make daily trips over there to help him get acquainted and also to see what the painters have accomplished!

Working for Caleb Pickett Inc. seems to be good for all concerned. Caleb is such a happy big boy. I can't wait to see him this weekend at Daddy's graduation.

Now that you're not commuting you have time to straighten your hair! :) You look great and Caleb looks great. We definitely miss you here but I'm sure you were right in your decision. I expect to see a few more Calebs running around soon!
Your hair is straight!!! Love the update - and glad Caleb likes his new toy :) He'll know his ABC's before any other kid his age - guaranteed! I am so glad you're happy at home with him. THe basketball video was great too - Ella never did anything like that at such a young age! Hope you have a Happy Mother's day!!!!
