Showers, Showers & More Showers!

This past week marked my last week at work for the rest of the year! It is going to be an adjustment to not be working every day but I feel confident I will enjoy the break and the time to bond with our precious boy. My co-workers spoiled me with a multi-day baby shower! I had a 'girls night' at a fun little bistro near the office where I got some adorable presents, followed by a shower at work the next day with even more gifts and a delicious cake. The following Monday I had yet another event to celebrate Caleb's fast approaching homecoming - a "baby hour" hosted after work with many of my close friends from the office. I'm so blessed to be surrounded by an amazing support system in all areas of my life, including at work!
Last weekend I was blessed to have another wonderful baby shower with all my 'girls'. My best girl friends from college gave me an adorable baby shower in Dallas. These are girls who have been by my side throughout the long journey to becoming a Mommy. They have loved, supported, and prayed for me through every hill and valley. It was such a blessing to spend time with them before we bring Caleb home and to have such a special shower.

The lovely hostesses - Jennifer, Lexi, Me, Katy, Jamie & Marla (Katy's sweet Mom!)
The entry table, complete with a cross painted by Lexi for Caleb's room

Cute decorations on the mantle. My favorite thing is the Aggie overalls made by Katy!

The yummy food... a "boy" menu

I got so many wonderful, generous presents including a
red wagon full of goodies from my Mom. I can't wait
for Caleb to be big enough to ride in the wagon!

With all of my dear friends from college & beyond-
thank you for being a part of such a special time in my life!
I had such a fun weekend seeing all of my friends! We even had a 'girls night' after the shower complete with a night of playing 'Rock Band'. I have hilarious pictures from that event, but since I don't believe in blackmailing my friends with embarrassing Rock Band photos I'll let you all use your imagination!
