Although right now it feels like the moving and unpacking will never end, we are truly enjoying our new home. We are getting things put in their place bit by bit and know that eventually we'll have it just how we want it. Bryan and his brother moved everything on Saturday and also installed 2 ceiling fans, moved a new fixture to our hallway, installed a new breakfast room chandelier and replaced the light fixture on our front porch. Their level of productivity was amazing! Michelle and I both agreed we need to get them together to do projects more often ;).
Caleb's transition into a new room and environment has gone really well. We brought him over to the new house many times before we actually moved in. We have kept his naptime and nighttime routine the same and he has done great! We've only had one night where he woke up briefly. Besides that one hiccup, everything is going very well! We are relieved to see how much more confident and well-adjusted he is even when major changes take place in his life.
We've really enjoyed the quietness of our new neighborhood and our peaceful backyard. We no longer have to listen to the ambulances or helicopters going to the hospital or deal with the other drawbacks of renting a house on a very busy street. We are excited to have so much more space to live in and look forward to making many memories at this home. Here are some of our memories so far:

Caleb eating a meal with Daddy. Sophie has learned that the best place to be is right next to the highchair. Caleb has a tendency to pick food up and lean over to hand it to Sophie, who obliges by dancing on her back legs!

Sophie and our cat Ginger love the deeper window sills at the new house! Sophie is enjoying the view from Caleb's room. Poor Sophie, she can't keep her ponytail looking good for more than an hour. This is definitely a bad hair day for her.

At our old house Caleb was still taking a bath in a small baby tub. The water pressure was so bad at the 1940's house that it took forever to fill up the tub! Now that we are at the new house Caleb has recently graduated to taking a bath like a big boy!

Caleb was nervous about sitting in the tub at first but quickly decided he liked all the space to play!

Look at all those teeth! He now has 10 total - 4 on top and 6 on bottom (includes 2 molars!). He has 2 more teeth waiting to come in on top. He is such a good sport although we know he must be uncomfortable from all the teething pain.

Last but not least, we want to say Happy 30th Anniversary to Bryan's parents Tony & Jan. Congratulations on 30 wonderful years together! Bryan and I are both so blessed to have parents who have been happily married for so many years. What a blessing and great example to follow!

How in the world did he get so many teeth?? *smile* Ellie still has the same 6 she's had for months. Not sure where the others are, but she's eating fine without them. Love all the new changes in your new house. I know you are so excited!!
Thank you for the anniversary wishes. We are so thankful that all of our children have also found wonderful spouses and we look forward to the day we celebrate all of their 30th wedding anniversaries.
Caleb is such a big boy these days. We hope to see him soon. Keep the pictures and videos coming.

Great update! You are amazing to update during your move. Looks like the whole family is settling in well. And I am sooo happy Caleb likes his bath toys!
