On September 2nd Caleb and I made a quick day trip to north Dallas to attend the first birthday party of Lainey, my dear friend Jamie's daughter. Luckily it is only a 2.5 hour drive each way so we were able to join them to celebrate! Jamie had an adorable ladybug themed party for her Lainey-Bug. It was great to see several close friends and their little ones! Caleb had a great time at the party despite it being his naptime. He enjoyed lunch next to a precious little girl named Reece, watched Lainey open presents and did his best to steal all the attention of Mrs. Judy, Lexi's Mom. We also got to meet baby Mia for the very first time and she is such a beautiful baby! We had such a fun time and it was well worth the drive!
On the way home we met Daddy in Waco for dinner & ice cream. Caleb was maxed out on riding in the car at that point, and it was time to eat anyways! We had a nice meal together at Panera Bread and enjoyed spoiling Caleb with some ice cream too!

Oh yeahhhhhh! Thanks for the sweet post and cute pics! I haven't opened the slideshow yet . . . I am moving so slow this week. It was so special to have you and Caleb man there!!! Love you all! J
