Post Placement Report #2

On Wednesday, June 17 we had Caleb's second post placement report visit from our social worker. We were really excited for her to see Caleb because our last visit was in December. Caleb has changed so much since then - he has gained over 10 lbs, grown at least 5 inches and met so many developmental milestones. Back in December I was taking pictures to document Caleb rolling to his side to grab a toy - something that was monumental for him even though he was 8 months old.
We completed a questionnaire for the social worker prior to her visit. It was really fun to be able to document all of the changes in Caleb's health, development, and personality. We feel so blessed that at this point we are not facing any major challenges in Caleb's attachment, health, or development. We've been blessed with the help of our state's early intervention program and have seen Caleb make steady progress toward every goal that has been set. As a result, when our social worker came to visit there weren't any concerns to address! We just got to enjoy Caleb and let her see how much his personality has blossomed.
The last time she saw him he looked like this:

And now he's a big boy and looks like this!
We are so proud of our sweet Caleb and all the incredible progress he has made in the past 8 months!
