We took Caleb to the pediatrician's office today so we could his height and weight checked. Bryan and I had both commented that he felt heavier, but we also thought we might be imagining things!Well, we aren't crazy - he is heavier! Here are the updates:
Height: 26 inchesWeight: 12 lbs 11 ounces!!!
In comparison, when we picked Caleb up from the orphanage on Oct 9 he was 25 inches long and 11 lbs. It looks like guzzling all that soy formula is starting to pay off! Way to go Buddy!!! He still has a long ways to go before he catches up on his weight but we are so encouraged by how well he is doing.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and that you are able to enjoy beautiful fall weather!

He does look like he has filled out since you brought him home - and his smiles keep getting bigger and bigger too! Love the updated pics, he is so so so cute!! Hugs, Laura
Betsy~~you have been the perfect MOMMY since you were 8 years old!! The most recent picture of you and Caleb says it all! Hope to see you soon..
Way to go Mom, Dad and Caleb. I've been telling Kevin that Ellie is heavier and has a belly and some leg rolls, but we don't go back until 12/2. I might not be able to stand it and might have to take her in to be weighed. :-) Or I could do the "luggage" method you taught me about back when we were travelling, huh? Caleb looks SO happy!!
Yay! That's AMAZING! Good job, you guys. Caleb looks so happy in his pictures, too. Very cute little boy.

This is excellent news! Isn't it the best feeling knowing you are doing a great job as a mom! There can be no doubt what a difference you are making for him (and him for you too)!
