I apologize for the long absence from blogging. For some reason our computer freezes when I try to download pictures from my camera, so I have not been blogging due to lack of visual aids. I need to do posts on Caleb's baptism (Aug 23), our attendance at Playgroup, joining a Kindermusik class and going to Story Time at the Temple Library!
The biggest news of all is that Caleb took his first steps today! He has been so close to reaching this milestone but has been quite cautious. We have been working to build his confidence and give him plenty of opportunities to practice. Tonight he took his first steps before dinner and then practiced several more times before bedtime. We feel so blessed that Bryan had today off after working the past 5 nights in the ER. It was great to be able to be able to share Caleb's first steps together. We both got tears in our eyes because it was so exciting and overwhelming for us! Here is a video of our little man doing his Frankenstein walk.

YEA CALEB!!! I felt like you were on the verge of walking any day, and now you have taken your first steps! Granny is excited for you AND for your Mommy and Daddy, who have done such a great job helping you grow into a strong and happy little boy.
Wahoo! Caleb, we are so proud of you. You are such a sweetie pie. I sure enjoyed my visit with you the other day.
Love, Gran Jan
Yeah Caleb!!! Too cute!
I'm having technical difficulty too and can't get any sound, but I still think these are super cute! Life is never quite the same after they start walking. I suspect now that he has a taste for it, he'll be off to the races!
Congrats Caleb!! You took your first steps with the loving encouragement of your mother and daddy's strong hands beside you! Thanks for posting Betsy, we were having Caleb withdrawal!
That is so sweet and special! Go Caleb!!!!!!!
